After hitman Ray (Colin Farrell) screws up a job, he and his partner Ken (Brendan Gleeson) are sent to the picturesque city of Bruges to hide out. Their experiences in the Belgium city become increasingly surreal as they encounter tourists, locals, an American dwarf and a potential romance for Ray. The darkly comedic film written and directed by Martin McDonagh explores guilt, redemption, and the consequences of one's actions.
